So much has happened this summer that never made it on this ol' blog. And for probably my sake only, I wanted to document a few of those things. So I decided that for the month of September, I would do a little flashback each Wednesday with some picks and a few of the memories that I still have despite being struck with a case of baby brain.
The first stop down memory lane is to the circus. Gavin had never been and I knew it could go one of two ways. 1) He would love it. 2) He would freak out. Little did I know that it would be a combination of the two.

I love the above picture of Gavin. He looks so grown up. So, all of these pictures were taken before the circus actually started. Gavin was a champ. He seemed fine with the clowns hanging around, the elephants and the juggling that were all part of the pre-show. The true test was about to begin.
Cue the lights, music and bam! Little man was buried in our shoulders. The circus was sponsored by Chick-Fil-A, and I think what got him worried was the mention of the cow, the costumed cow. Gavin doesn't want to be near that cow with a ten foot pole.

We could get him to turn around every few minutes to see acts like the amazing strong men.

Thankfully, by the second half of the show, he was all smiles again.
