How Far Along: 28 Weeks


As D was taking my picture, Sweetie decided to get in on the action.



Size of Baby: About 14.8 inches - the size of a Chinese cabbage - and weighs around 2.3 pounds.

Maternity Clothes: I'm still sporting a mixture of maternity and regular clothes.

Gender: It's a GIRL! Had another ultrasound yesterday and the technician siad it was probably still a girl. I will tell you that hearing the word "probably" wasn't very reassuring but I guess since this was the third ultrasound and no one has said, "no it's not a girl," we are still thinking pink. To give the ultrasound technician a little credit, baby girl was completely folded in half with her legs up over her head. And can I just say, that I think she is going to have the cutest, chubbiest cheeks.

Movement: She is so active right now. In fact, during the ultrasound, she went from being breech with her feet down to having her head down. I'm sure in the coming weeks she won't have that much room to move around.

Sleep: I just need more of it. We have had so much going on lately, that I probably have not made it as much of a priority as I should. I did manage to sneak in a nap today.

What I miss: Getting up and down off the floor as easily.

Cravings: I have not been craving much except maybe frozen yogurt, which I still have not had.

Best Moment of the Week: Finding out that baby girl is ok. See, yesterday we had a pretty bad wreck, but God was completely watching over us. None of us three (four) had a single scratch on us despite us having a blowout, spinning around twice and hitting the center divider of the freeway, all while going 60+ mph. My doctor did want us to go to the hospital to make sure baby girl was ok as a precaution. She checked out fine and was moving so much that the heart monitor would not stay in place. She does still have the minimal fluid on her left kidney but we are praying that will resolve itself.

I am seriously hoping to blog more about what else has been going on in the Moore household. God has been doing some incredible things.
